Abu Dhabi is filled with ongoing construction, there is not a place around here where there are no cranes in your view. Much of the construction is just regular tower blocks, with some skyscrapers, but there is some of the extreme construction going on as well. One of those extreme constructions is going next to the hotel, at the end of Al Raha Beach.
The building is to become the headquarters of Aldar Properties, the developer who is managing about $72B worth of construction in Abu Dhabi. Its projects include Yas Island and the Ferrari World theme park.
The building is absolutely stunning. It is constructed out of two spheres of glass and aluminum and is approximately 110 meters high. It holds 25 stories and 51,000 square meters of office space.

The only way you can call this pretty is in a sort of post-apocalyptic way...
